CONVERSATIONS ON CREATIVE PRACTICE
Thursday 20 November, 6:30 pm
Free
Hosfelt Gallery and Glenn Kurtz are
pleased to present Conversations
on Creative
Practice, a series of interdisciplinary panel discussions
about the daily pursuit of
creative excellence. Participants in this program series include
artists, musicians,
critics, writers, dancers, actors, and athletes—people
whose jobs demand
continuous improvement, disciplined attention to process, and
the transformation
of inspiration and intention into tangible achievement. In probing
conversations,
we get inside the workshop and work habits, and the pitfalls
and passions to
understand how creative professionals accomplish their work.
The program on November 20 will be moderated by author and musician
Glenn
Kurtz and will feature as panelists best-selling author
Darin Strauss and composer,
musician, writer, and producer Michael
Hearst. A cocktail reception concludes the
program. The speakers will be on hand to sign their books and
CDs, which will be
available for purchase.
